Xiamen 10's 2011: Black and Whites and some Blues (from Chongqing Conquerer's are set to make a big splash in Xiament May 7, 2011. About 20 guys and a few brave lasses with be making the trek on Friday May 6 for a weekend of rucking fun!

S5 (Sichuan Super Sexy Social Seven's): June 16, 2011 the Black and Whites Second Annual Invitational promises to be all the names says and more.

PRACTICE

RUGBY FOUR TIMES A WEEK

The Chengdu Rugby Club Practices Three times a week, with a fourth fitness only session on Mondays. The Primary practice is on Saturday 12:30pm at the Taipingsi Football Pitch. The other three days are at Sichuan University pitch beside the Sichuan University Museum. Monday at 5:30 PM there is sprint training, Tuesday night 6 PM we have skills training, and Thursday at 5:30pm we have touch rugby . SPEED TRAINING: MONDAY 5:30 PM - Dark

Speed training has now been introduced into the training program. CRFC regular Ian Reinert has stepped up to run the sessions every monday night from 5:30PM at Sichuan University. The sessions take place on the regular Thursday night pitch (see map below), and generally run for about an hour.

This is a great way to improve your game as well as your overall fitness, everyone is welcome. Cost is FREE.

CONTACT TRAINING: TUESDAY 6:00PM - 7:00PM

Training has begun, and will run every Tuesday at the Sichuan University pitch. We practice a variety of rugby skills good for all levels. Everyone is welcome!

These Tuesday sessions are intended to improve everyone's fitness level for "CONTACT" rugby. Cost is FREE..

THURSDAY PRACTICE: 5:30 PM - Dark

Thursday Touch Rugby takes place at 5:30pm every week at Sichuan University. The pitch is located near the East Gate near the Uni Museum. Thursday night is touch rugby only, all are welcome. Cost is FREE.

SATURDAY PRACTICE: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

UPDATE: Saturday practice is currently at Taipingsi Football Pitch (Just south of the 3rd Ring Road west of the Leshan Expressway off Da Jian Lu). If you are unsure of the current Saturday practice location email us here for regular updates.

Saturday Practice  takes place at 12:30pm every week at the Taipingsi pitch, unless we are away for a tourney. We play both Touch and Contact on Saturdays. Cost is free for first timers, members and Chinese locals, or 30RMB for one off practice. If you are unsure of the location, team members generally meet at the Shamrock Bar on Ren Min Nan Lu at 12 PM prior to practice.
